Now, SonyLiv is bringing a web series called "The Hunt - The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case" to the OTT audience on july 4th 2025. Since real stories are popular even in OTT, the respective OTT streaming platforms are taking them out and marketing them like hot cakes. Now, the most unique incident that took the entire country by surprise, Rajiv Gandhi, took place at that time. When he was the Prime Minister, Sri Lankan extremists committed this atrocity in an election meeting.
However, SonyLiv has come forward to bring that incident as a web series. It will be telecast in many languages from July 4, 2025. It was originally shot in Hindi. Since there is interest in this incident across the country, this web series is also being dubbed and released in many local languages like telugu.
Currently, a web series called "The Hunt - The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case" is going to be telecast in 7 episodes. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, he closely examines the Rajiv Gandhi incident that took place on May 21, 1991 and has been made to be as realistic as possible.
