OTT companies were initially popular only for some web series. Because all the movies were watched in theaters. According to the Sonyliv Telugu Web Series Releases list given here, Sony Live has displayed many web series. Now, only TV shows are watched on TV. Otherwise, web series were mostly streamed on OTTs.
